Argyris Makrygeorgou is an ICT/CS professional with extensive experience in Operations, Solution Architecture, Managed Services, and Information Security. He has focused exclusively on Cyber since 2013, undertaking senior roles in Dublin, Ireland, and Athens, Greece, while engaging in projects around the globe. He joined Fortinet in Q1 2024 as the Regional SecOps Business Development Manager for Greece, Hungary, and Cyprus. In this role, he is responsible for the Fortinet ecosystem — including SIEM, SOAR, EDR, NDR, Deceptor, Recon, Mail, and Analyzer — as well as SOCaaS, MDR, and Incident Response Services, across major accounts and key partners. A retired self-defence practitioner and instructor, he continues to pursue fitness, confidence, and personal safety — both for himself and others. He is also a published poet and an aspiring professional cook.
